typical sockathan. I’m trying to get out of this damn art block.
I updated my deviantart membership today.
Is it just me, or does the 'Til Hell Freezes Over symbol
look just a little like Mephistopheles’ pin? Haha.

Inverse!Sock and Inverse!Jonathan — personality switch!
So, here these are! Hi-res remakes of Saint Sock and Saint Jon as well as transparent versions without the halos. I reblogged my original versions of Saint Sock as a private post and deleted the physically original posts which you can find [here] and [here], I just wanted to put the new ones in a masterpost. Please feel free to use as images on your blog! Just like or reblog if you use, I’m not picky on how you actually credit any of these. All of these are transparent, so feel free to drag ‘em around.

Oh wait, I was actually going to ask a question. Do you have any advice for finding an art style?
Oh- haha ! Well, as you can probably see in my gallery and tumblr, style is something that is really flexible for me. Originally, my style was kind of this semi-realistic sketchy-type that didn’t always flow with the piece I needed to finish or something… The best thing you can do to find a style is look at other sources — animated films from Dreamworks and Disney really inspire me, especially the concept art. Look at some of the concept art from films like Rise of the Guardians or Tangled — you’ll see a wide variety of styles there. But, how to find your style is to look at other works — start by sketching out a basic human form, and then mimick some styles of other artists. If you like the way you’ve drawn hands, draw hands that way for a while ! The way I draw humans varies so much between a matter of days and how motivated I am sometimes.
oh my god I love your art it's so good
You just made my day !
